 Welcome to Mount Tavy Cottage, a 250
year old former gardener’s cottage set in 10 acres of land, which includes a
lake, our own organic walled garden, cider orchard and bee hives. We
are located only a 10 minute walk away from the boundary of the 368 square
miles of Dartmoor
National Park and also
the same time from the picturesque town centre of Tavistock where there is
still a weekly market. On the lake we have pier that includes a covered
dining area complete with seating, just perfect for a relaxing evening
overlooking the lake. (pictured below)

overlooking the lake which is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies. Watch

Bed & Breakfast accommodation
is available in The Cottage, which
has two beautifully furnished bedrooms. We have a family room and a four
poster room, both have their own private bathrooms. Daily tariff is from £35 per person per night * to
include full English breakfast.
Our two Garden Studios offer
spacious rooms each sleeping up to 3 people. Each room has modern self
catering facilities, large shower room and colour TV. Daily tariff from £35 per person per night
* with continental breakfast included. * based on 2 people sharing.
Dinner
is available by prior arrangement (please bring your own wine). All our meals
include only the freshest ingredients, and some are sourced from our own
organic garden. There are a wealth of excellent pubs and restaurants 10
minutes walk away in the town of Tavistock.
Well behaved dogs and children are very welcome. There is a small
additional charge for dogs, please enquire when making your booking.
